iENA is an event focused on innovation; it is held at the German city of Nuremberg, from October, 20th to November, 2nd, 2008. It is an inventions and inventors fair, with 60 years of history. The organizers expect this edition to show more than 800 new products and solutions. Inventors will come from 40 countries, most of them coming from Eastern Europe and Asia.
During four days, iENA 2008 will become the reference for private inventors, inventors associations and institutions related to the world of innovation. Many of the projects exhibited during the 60 past editions of the fair have later become daily products. Some of these are shown on the website, like blade rollers, suitcases with wheels and collapsible bikes.
At the fair, the patent agencies represented in Germany, Europe and several countries from the rest of the world will also find their place. The fair will also reserve space for Young German inventors. The organizing committee knows that young people are the future of our society; for this reason, it wants to give them a special role.
During iENA 2008, a number of symposiums will be celebrated, focusing on invention piracy, and a number of speeches on interesting areas. You may see a photo gallery with pictures of previous editions in order to get a better idea of what is this fair all about.
