Kindling is a space for collaboration between users. It is focused on the ideas proposed by the users. On this website, companies, organizations or individuals can create debate groups and vote their ideas.
The target of applications like Kindling is to facilitate the brainstorming process within organizations. In this way, one may know the opinions and interests of a group of individuals with respect an idea. When electing a specific idea, one may vote, and the group will choose the idea preferred by all in general.
The project has been developed by Arc90, an experienced team of design and technology professionals based in New York City and founded in 2005. This is them first public product launch. The new web (Web 2.0 or Social Web) is facilitating to a large degree all these forms of participation or cooperation between users. Now, people sense they are called to cooperate with these kinds of projects, contribute with their opinions and ideas and get to know people with similar interests. Users are not any more frightened to share their opinion about all kind of subjects, to write down their ideas and that everybody has access to them. All of us who participate in this new stage of internet have to know learn to capitalise in the best way this impulse, and achieve that internet becomes more useful for everybody.
