Aspen Ideas Festival is an event held at the Aspen Institute from June, 30th to July, 6th. The Aspen Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue, based in Colorado. This event is held since 50 years ago; it gathers leaders from all over the world to debate on ideas and the challenges mankind is facing.
This year, Bill Clinton, former president of the USA, will attend the Aspen Ideas Festival among many other important leaders.
The debates of this festival of the ideas has focused on ideas about the arts, science, technology, culture, religion, philosophy, economy and politics. Writers, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers and leaders from all over the world will take part.
They will continue releasing video throughout the coming weeks. Look for several thought-provoking sessions advising the next administration on how to best prepare our children for the future, explaining what kids really do on Facebook, and describing why Jerome Robbins was a genius.
The event was so successful that all tickets were sold-out early. The event also counted with important sponsors, like Intel or Mercedes Benz, who have joined other important companies year after year.
There was also a virtual version for all those interested in the Aspen Ideas Festival that could not attend; the organization publishes on its website all the audio and video clips produced, as well as a photo gallery.
