Today’s idea is a brilliant advertising campaign by ASICS, one of the running brands par excellence. It goes beyond a simple ad that encourages you to buy their shoes.
The idea is a paper printout that uses thermochrome ink that reacts to body heat. By simply standing on the sheet of paper and waiting for a few seconds, it will show you how you step: you may be a supinator (shoes wear in the external area of the sole), a pronator (they wear in the internal area of the sole), or neutral (uniform wear in the sole). This information allows you to choose the right running shoes for you.
This innovative ad appeared in the April edition of magazines “Runners” and “Women’s Health” in Brazil.
