The following is a tale of success that was made possible by ideas4all. Four young actors had a dream: to create their own company and stage a thriller they translated and adapted themselves, Manuscript, by Paul Grellong.
Achieving their goal was not easy for our four friends. They had more than enough enthusiasm and were up for the hard work, but for an inexperienced artist, having talent and wanting to share a dream is not enough. You need financial backing. And that is when our characters had a stroke of luck: they ran into ideas4all and managed to carry out their project. They also had a good idea: that 1% of the budget of every film project be dedicated to social work or humanitarian aid in the country of shooting. They acted their idea out on video and uploaded it to our site, and the votes of our users made them winners of the Ideas for Obama contest. With the prize money they bought the props they needed to stage their play of intrigue and suspense.
We at ideas4all are very proud of having contributed to make Manuscript become reality.
The play is now on stage every Wednesday at 9 p.m. at Sala Tis in Madrid (Calle Primavera 11).
