The organizers of the 2011 edition of the Big Bang Challenge, Forética and AstraZeneca, met with two of the three components of the winning idea, (96683) Azoteas Vivas, Judith Bilbao and Laura Barragues, to sign an agreement whereby they engage to implement their project.

Their idea suggested the use of spaces that are particularly overlooked in cities, building rooftops, to create new “living spaces with the installation of urban orchards and vegetable gardens”. The idea will first be implemented in the city of Bilbao.

We wish them very good luck!
